What is DW Athletic Conditioning?
DW Athletic Conditioning is a running based program which is individually customised to your fitness level but with the benefit of training in a group environment. You will feel no pressure of trying to compete with others, it is all about improving yourself and supporting those around you.

Why Us?
DW Athletic Conditioning will help improve your physical conditioning for your chosen sport or general fitness.
We follow a systematic and periodised training plan that incorporates aerobic, anaerobic, speed, acceleration and agility components.
More importantly we focus on technique, when it comes to running being efficient is of utmost importance for injury prevention and performance enhancement.
How We Run Sessions
We run group training sessions at local parks on Tuesday & Wednesday nights and Saturday & Sunday Mornings (You pick one weekday and one weekend session a week) Sessions are normally 60-70 minutes long.
Learning Outcomes
▷ What Aerobic/Anaerobic systems are and how & why we develop it.
▷ The basics of running technique, at different paces, I.E. easy running, fast pace running, sprinting and acceleration.
▷ Learn how to do a warm up/cool down and why this is important.
▷ Learn basic running drills and when to implement them.
▷ Basic plyometrics.
▷ Basic body maintenance to help with recovery, enhance performance, adapt to training and injury prevention.
▷ How to have fun in group training environment and reach your goals.

🏈 He was lucky enough to represent NZ in Rugby and Touch and wants to pass on the knowledge and skills he learnt during his playing days on to the next generation:
